FENMOX-CLAV 625 is the brand name for Amoxicillin 500 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125mg, manufactured by Medfence Labs. Fenmox Clav 500mg/125mg Tablet is best taken with a meal to reduce the chance of a stomach upset. Fenmox Clav 500mg/125mg Tablet is an antibiotic that helps the body fight infections that are caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the lungs, the ear, the nasal sinus, the urinary tract, the skin, and the soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold.

Fenmox Clav 500mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Amoxyicillin and Clavulanic Acid, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Amoxicillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxicillin against bacteria.

Mechanism of Action

Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering, which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. Dosage & Administration

• One tablet (625 mg) every 8 hours (i.e., 3 times a day)

• Liver: Fenmox Clav 500mg/125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Fenmox Clav 500mg/125mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
  Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine

• Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.
• Ask your healthcare professional how you should dispose of any medicine you do not use.
• Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.
• Store the oral liquid either at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Throw away any unused medicine after 14 days. Keep it tightly closed.
